Why A FREE Bookmobile?
To Promote Equality & Access
We believe that free access to books is a key part of working to eliminate the radical inequality between those who have access to books and those who do not the same access.
What The Research Says
Children from low-income families have less access to books than children from middle income families. In middle income neighborhoods, there are 13 books for every child. By contrast, in low income neighborhoods there is only 1 book for every 300 children. Beloved Books Bookmobile hopes to help solve this problem by providing free access to books to children in under-resourced areas.
